My site provides free info on playing online poker and links to sites that offer actual games. And if you search for "poker" at Google you will find many advertisers that do likewise.
But G says my content violates their no gambling content policy.
I emailed my adwords rep asking for a second opinion than general support, but thought i'd get your take on it.
I want to comply but really see no difference between the content they approve for this keyword and my content for it.
thanks
that's what i did on my new site but it's currently disapproved
i requested an exception with my explanation but support replied that I'm disapproved cuz of gambling content
but i ask my rep to double check yesterday, maybe they will find me in the same catagory as the guys they allow --- i see no difference
Advertising is not permitted for online casinos, sports books, bingo, and affiliates with the primary purpose of driving traffic to online gambling sites.
From the Adwords content regulations--- perhaps your best argument would be if you could demonstrate that your affiliate links were not the primary purpose of the website, but this is bound to be a judgement call of G's editorial department.
