What conversion rate should I be achieving with visitors to my site?

How would you define a 'conversion' for your website? (a sale, sign up etc). Conversion rates depend on a lot of factors - what a 'conversion' is, the product/offer, the actual website, what kind of traffic you are driving to the site, etc. Maybe you should give more details.

From what others have posted, somewhere between 0.5 and 5% CTR seems normal. It seems to vary depending if you have a lot of regular visitors, forums, etc.
