Keywords Not Being Inserted In Ad

Even though the keywords are quite short enough.

Ok, I'm pretty new to AdWords, but I'm definately confused on this issue.

Let's say I have an ad with a headline/body like so:

Get {KeyWord:Widgets}
Buy {keyword:widgets}
online for less.
www.widgets.com
www.widgets.com/?k={keyword}

For a whole bunch of my terms, the keywords are not being inserted. When I do a search at Google, I see "Get Widgets", "Buy widgets online for less" on almost every one. Even though the entire headline is much shorter than 25 characters with the keywords inserted.

However, the destination url correctly inserts the keywords.

Am I not understanding something here? I thought that as long as the headline/body text was short enough with the keywords inserted, they would be inserted. If not, what else would prevent them from being inserted?

Thanks in advance.

Jon
