Does the actual ad history play a part in quality score?

I had an ad with %55 CTR with several thousand clicks. I had to change it due to a typo, but now I cannot seem to get my spot back.

Does having a new ad hurt the score?

Darn. That really sucks.

They really need to ad the ability to edit an ad without deleting it. I changed only 1 letter. Or atleast keep the ad as long as you do not change the actual URL.
