Landing page algo, a quick way to get into Google index?

Now Google has a paid inclusion program?

Now Google will look at your webpages for your Adwords ads. So they HAVE TO take the content of your pages into their index first and then compute the relavence of your page content to your keywords. If you have a brand new site and are desperately trying to get into Google's index, putting up some Adwords ads may be a quick way to do that. :D

Anyway, this is just a hypothesis.

Sounds interesting.
What if Google wants to go even further in the future?

The "official line" is that there is no connection but I've seen the contrary to be true many times.

Adwords to your site will get it spidered faster. Now whether that leads to indexing is another issue.

Honestly, in the past three plus years at AdWords, I've talked with dozens of folks who are all over the map on this point. You'll see the same on this, and other, AdWords Forums.

Lots of folks insist it helps one's placement in the SERPS to advertise with AdWords, and have ample evidence to back it up. Lots of folks insist that it hurts, and have first-person evidence for that as well.

As for me, I'll stick to "no connection" - and also add that coincidences of all types occur at the intersection of tons of advertisers and zillions of web pages. ;
