Hi,

I queried Google and got some answers to share.

Here's my original question:
Consider outsource web design as one of my keywords for my Web Design AdGroup. There are no impressions. When I check the keyword tool, and use the correcty geo-target, I get a note that says the keywords are not in any of my campaigns, yet go to my ad and there the keyword phrase is.

Why does Google not show any impressions for some of my keywords? Is there a number of keywords per adgroup that are allowed? Why would this be so on the outsource web design?

Here is Google's answer after being escalated to the higher tech level by Google:

First, the technical team has reviewed the keyword 'outsource web design'
and noticed that the keyword has actually received 11 impressions for its all time statistics. In addition, the keyword is currently showing the ad in the 40th position. This means that the ad is showing at some point, but not on the first page of results.

Second, I noticed that your daily budget is below the recommended amount.
Our system recommends that you increase your daily budget to US$20.00 to maximize your ad's visibility. You can adjust your daily budget any time by following the steps listed below:

Third, there is currently an issue where the Ad Diagnostic Tool will not recognize when a keyword is in the account. Our engineers are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it. However, you can try deleting and re-adding the keyword in order to use the Ad Diagnostic Tool.

Now back to my comments, so there are some problems with the ad diagnositic tool, hmmm. At least I am not going crazy.

Fourth

A trademarked term is preventing your ad from showing.

According to Google's trademark policy, ads may not show for certain trademarked keywords in countries outside the U.S. or Canada.

To figure out, you need to use Ads Diagnostic Tool.
