Yahoo anouncing in Adwords

I saw it today, travel section of yahoo.com
Does Google Adwords allow that?

I would think that is allowed. I see ads for other magazines inside a magazine or newspaper, how is that different from this situation? While watching cable TV i see ads for different networks all the time.

Yes but you can't run adsense and overture in the same page for instance. So it's logical to think Google doesn't want to promote Yahoo...
