question for some of you. Have you seen huge spikes in impressions like from 50-100 per day to 5,000-6,000 per day? I noticed these right after the new system was launched.
These can't be searches. Anyone know where all these impressions are being generated? Also they must be poorly targeted because for ads in 4th position CTR is >.005 where is usually 2 to 3 % on true searches.
What is happening?

AJ, it seems to me that you be opted into the content network? That would be the first thing I would check when I see a huge traffic increase or a huge decrease in CTR.

Search syndication fraud. I've been burned by this in the past - your ad placed by a syndication partner in a placement that is content, yet tagged as search.
