Content vs. Search Bidding

Can you be denied ad space if your bid is too low?

I love being able to split up my content and search bidding - However, I've noticed today on a few of my campaigns that my content impressions have fallen through the basement. And the only thing I've changed on these campaigns is the bid amount for content.

My question is - Do the advertisers have a setting that allows them to show only ads that reach a certain amount per click? Or is there software there that blocks ads that fall below a certain amount per click?

Just wondering why my impressions would fall so drastically - when my ad, my keywords, and my ranking have all stayed the same?

I am new in the seo world and was wondering what content impressions are?

when you sign up for an adwords account, and decide on some adwords - by default, your ad will show up in searches - using the adwords you chose - and your ad will show up on appropriate websites that advertise for google.

Those appropriate websites that advertise your ad are called the content network. Each time your ad shows up on a content page when someone is viewing it - Google records that as an impression. You pay when someone sees that impression and clicks on your ad. That is how they come up with the Click thru rate or CTR = clicks/impressions. I beleive that's how it works anyway.

My content impressions have fallen to zero after activating the content bids. However, my content bids are set to what they always have been set to (same as search bids).

This is happening on some campaigns and not others.

Any solutions anyone?
