I thought we no longer had to deal with too low CTR?

Status: active
Impressions: 0 (all time)
Diagnosis tool: your ad does not show because the CTR is too low.

Anybody know how I resolve this? Help appreciated.

Hmmm, HitProf. Is this a keyword that has been around for a very long time (say since before the switch to quality based minimum bids), but with no impressions ever? If so, deleting it and re-entering it may be the right thing to do.

Or is it a new keyword of a potentially 'sensitive' nature? Then it may need to be reviewed/approved.

Bottom line, you may want to contact AdWords support and have them take a look.

Thansk for your suggestion AWA.

It is from (just) before the switch. If I remember well a lot of them started out as on hold immediately. Most got better after a whole. We have hundreds of these in this account alone.

Deleted keyword & re entered it again. Same result so far. I'll try again tomorrow.

OK, now it works. I've deleted all keywords and put them back in. Let's hope it works for them too. One of the no show ctr too low keyords actually had a ctr of 66%.

Sorry to say, but in my opnion this is a totally needless action. Should have been solved by Google automatically when the new system kicked in. This is one example of the lack of thinking begore going live with changes I guess.
