is there a way to adjust the MAX bid for each individual keyword in adwords. it seems that the max bid i set is for all the keywords. also is there a bid tool for adwords avaiable on line like the overture bid tool. thanks. 1 more question, how long did it usually take for any1 to find the right keywords and bid price for your adwords campaign. i started my adwords campaign 3 days ago and it seems that the start of the program is more of an analysis time period then an actual advertising initative. trying to determin the right bid price as well as the right keywords to generate leads.

You can adjust the max bid on a keyword basis like this-

keyword**0.25

You can also set destination urls the same way-

keyword**0.25**http://www.yoururl.com/xyz

No, Adwords does not have a bid tool like Overture.

thank you for that info. I guess the only bid info per keyword that i can get is when i click the Estimate Traffic button in the adwords admin panel.

That "tool" is total garbage. It's not even close to being accurate.
