Well I am not sure I just need to know what I should do to make this more successful. I am getting impressions and clicks with only a few sales.

Thank you
Denise

'with only a few sales'

Does the ratio of clicks:sales from adwords compare well with the ratio of clicks:sales you get from other traffic sources?

You may want to make the ad more specific and less 'tempting'. If you have something that people really want to click, you may be attracting customers which aren't actually interested.

You may also be bidding on the wrong keywords - try to use exact match keywords rather than broad match, but use lots of them. That way you know that you're getting the most qualified traffic you can.

For the term [widgets]
here are the stats
90 4,998 1.8% $0.51 $45.40 6.7

These are the ads I am using

<ads removed>

I am using other keywords but this is the main one I am trying to target.

Thanks
Denise

One of the best sources of information about AdWords is at that AdWords Learning Center [google.com].

The AdWords Forum Library [webmasterworld.com] is the best place to catch up on old AdWords News.

The Jumpstart Links [webmasterworld.com] Post is a nice aggregation of useful information on this board.

Hope this helps.

How can anyone help with this particular ad if it is deleted?

Are you saying you have had 90 clicks on this keyword? 90 clicks isnt enought to know how well you site is converts for that keyword. And you say you are getting clicks, if you are getting clicks does that not mean your site isnt converting for those visitors? Either the site doesnt convert as well as you'd like or you are using the wrong keywords, not targetted enough?

I can not get more targeted than dance dance revolution and the 90 clicks is just for that keyword and it is in about a months time.

Thank you

That phrase may be the most targetted, but if it only gets 90 clicks over a month it wont bring you many sales, assuming a rough average for conversion from click to sale of 1 in 100. So it may convert but you need more clicks to know for sure.

You need to find more keywords to describe your business and get more traffic, it's almost impossible for anyone here to say where any problems are if you arent getting traffic. And I mean hundreds of clicks, then you can make decisions about where the problems lie.

Try as many keywords you can think of, with variations, mispellings, and with all 3 keyword matching options. You never know which keywords might convert unless you try them.
