Hello,
My web site is in a very, very competitive business industry. However I offer a very good service at a very good price. Many senior members here have a good web site. Until I get my links program rolling I have been using AdWord for the most popular keyword in my industry and paying for top or near top positions. More than a 1,000 clicks and not a single sale - not even an email question. I am miffed. I know what my competitors are doing, I should be getting some sales. A senior member was kind enough to tell me it is likely a poorly written ad. Any other possibilities you can throw at me?

Thank You

maybe you do not have what the user wants?

Have you tested your AdWords link to make sure your landing page is coming up correctly? Are you sending clickers to your best possible landing page? Do you target US or International?

Maybe your competitors are the ones clicking on your ad - out of curiosity.... it sounds like you have plenty of them.

"maybe you do not have what the user wants?"

I offer the same (high demand) service as many successful companies in the same industry for a very competitive price. If they can do it so can I. A good links program may be what the doctor ordered. As far as competitor's clicking on my ad, yes that is probably happening and I may knock on their heads when I find them :)

Check the IP addressess in your logs for suspicious competitors.

And, if you wanted to PM me your url and a keyword or two I'm willing to take a look.
