Site target review process?

I decided to try to build some brand using Google site target and placed about 500 sites in the list to target early last week. I have not had even one impression to date and was wondering if anyone else had this experience. Is there a lengthy review process for site target ads? I have both a banner and text ad and neither has been displayed. I increased the CPM to a large amount to see if that was the problem but still no impressions. Any ideas? Thanks!

The review period seems to be normally up to a working day. However I target my adverts in a more rifled manner with adverts tailored for individual sites.

One thing I learnt early in is that you have to adjust your max CPM to get the ad to serve at all. It depends on what other advertisers are bidding for the same site.

After the advert starts it becomes relatively easy to adjust or to decide if a particular site is effective or not
