In September, I developed one AdWords interface using Google API. By this system, my clients could manage their own accounts and choice keywords, read reports and so on. Certainly I could make a very small amount money form it, 2% of all spending.

You Know. This sub system seemed no need in US. But in China, A great number of firms have no easy way to access Google AdWords. And still no smooth channel for paying to Google. This is why I made a possible for Mainland Chinese participating AdWords.

I can tell you, most of Google Chinese Ads users are not direct client, but through Agents - may be illegal agents in Google eyes. Just those legal agents, they can make 10 fold profits than I do.

But unfortunately, I folly made my website - the system interface - as a copy of Google AdWords. Google emailed me, said that my homepage must be changed. Google don't want people thinking that my site is a part of Google.

I promptly changed my website after received Google email.

But the horrible things still happened. My all AdWords accounts were banned.

I contacted Google and Chinese AdWords Workgroup. But no any useful information reply form Google. I send fax to Google, certainly, no reply yet.

During the appeal proceeding, I tried registering two new accounts using credit cards of my family member. They were all banned just after I posted OLD URL.

Now, one month had gone. I have no idea to deal with this saturation, so I pay money to one legitimate AdWords Agents. No surprising, they can post my OLD URL, which had been banned by Google many times.

Suddenly, I know that Google is helping Agents to rob poor Chinese advertisers. Google delete accounts, force them pay more money to its Chinese aliens. What a good idea! Google accomplished a strong sales channel simply by using its hegemony. It's UNFAIR.

Google has a reputation for providing excellence service to people not only for money. But now, After IPO, it tend to cash its reputation for $.

If Google want to stride into Chinese market, it must change to fit the special market environment. Typically, There are legal problems with AdSense published in Chinese website hosted in Mainland China.

Finally, I give you an advise, DON'T TRY TO USE GOOGLE ADWORDS API IN CHINA, IT CONFLICTS TO GOOGLE'S PROFITS.

While your warning is appreciated, it seems you did several things that earned you the right to have all your adwords accounts closed.

Thanks for the tale of warning, but I get a bit of impression that you feel a bit wronged in all of this, and you should not feel that way.

I agree with you.

Google has much things to do in China.

In China, Yahoo cooperated with a spyware maker - 3721.
In China, No one could use Google Cache, translation, blogspot.
