The Inside AdWords blog has posted about a new function called "My Change History" which reports the past 3 months of changes to an account for reference. I know I've needed this before, and I'm glad to see it now available.

Inside Adwords [adwords.blogspot.com]

[adwords.google.com...]

To access My Change History, click Tools on the Campaign Management tab of your account. Then, select the date range for which you'd like to see changes. You can view all changes for a particular time period, or you can filter the results by the type of change. If multiple users with different logins manage your account, you can also use the tool to see who made certain changes.

I think change history was tested not long ago. I remember running through it a while back.

It is one of the neatest and most welcomed updates to the AW system since the new Quality Scoring change -imo..

It came out in beta in May I believe.

It's an incredibly useful tool. The one thing I really like is the ability to filter by which login caused the change.

I'll pass that on, eWhisper. I'm sure it'll bring a smile to more than one face. ;)

It is indeed very usefull (and I was waiting for a thread on this, can't believe it took this long :))

Although the feature is great (I agree with eWhisper), what I miss is a filter on changes to the ad text. Can you put this on the wishlist AWA?

The one thing I really like is the ability to filter by which login caused the change.

How many logins can be used to access a single account?

Right now I have a account login, and an MCC login, would love to be able to assign user accounts across our company that could access the MCC and have their changes loggged to their username.

If this feature is there, how do I set it up?

I think there are only 2 login's direct and through the MCC

You can set up a 'master MCC'.

Underneath that master, you can link other MCCs.

When looking at change history, it'll show if the master MCC, the linked MCC, or the client login made the change.

I don't believe there is any way to have the same account in multiple MCCs, so you can't have an account in 6 MCCs and then see which one made the change - it's all hierarchy based.

Consider it done, Robsp. I've just pasted it into the Advertiser Feedback Report that'll go out on Thursday night. I'll also mention it personally to the right folks next time I see them. The teams behind new features are always curious to know what is being said about their feature on this Forum. ;)

Really cool! My employees work out of their homes so this lets me check up on them.
