I am seeing huge numbers of impressions on certain phrases. These can't be searches so obviously there is someone in the search partner network (I don't use content partners) that is "hardwiring" searches. Anyone seen anything similar and any idea who might be doing this? I just saw this start on 08/25/2005.
TIA

There are plenty of sites that just display the listings for a search on one (high-cost) keyword phrase. The user doesn't have to do a search. Both Google and Yahoo allow these sites into their "search" network, so you can't opt out of them without also opting out of the good search network partners. These have been around for a long time.
These sites drive me crazy as they deliver lots of low quality clicks. I have complained to Google and Yahoo about them, but to no avail. If they cared about their paying customers, they would drop these sites.

I can tell you this is definitely nothing new. I notice they wait about 12 minutes before repeating the search from the same site.
Just one of those things that you put up with, unfortunately. I just lower the bids to something I can absorb.

I am trying to find out where these are coming from but my logs show referrer as Google not the site that they originate from....
