Hi

I have total of 14 negative keywords for all my campaigns. At this time, I am placing them (the 14 negative keywords) in each ad group. Is it safe, to place these 14 keywords in campaign negative keywords, not in each ad group?

I guess that if I place them in campaign I will make some space for new keywords, but Is it safe to do it? I would not like my adds to be triggered for the word free for example.

Regards, Zoreli

It's not only safe to do it, it's SAFER to do it. If you find that your ad is being triggered by some keyword that you want filtered out, it's much easier to add it to the campaign than to each ad group.

Do a search on here for allinurl and negative words. there was a few really good threads on it. That negative word was in several threads and was one I had not thought of.

It is indeed a good idea to do it by campaign.

Just don't forget what they are.

I could see myself selling a book like "Born Free" and wondering why I get no impressions....

Even if you have free as one of your campaign negative words and if you add Born Free to your Ad Group, I thought your ad will still be shown for Born Free
