Does Google penalize SERP because of Adword issues?

Will google penalize natural SERPs based on abuse of adword system?

I have a client who I do they e-com development as well as a portion of the SEO (The database driven part of the SEO). Anyway, they have a number of affiliates who have gotten in trouble with Adwords for the ads they have targetted to the main site..

The main site (www.example.com) was created in March '05. When I do site:www.example.com at google.com, I only get the index page.

I know it could be a sandbox issue.. if it wasn't for all the drama with Adwords, I would just dismiss it as Sandbox and wait a little longer.

So, has anyone been banned or penalized from Google's SERPs because of Adword issues?

They are completely seperate indexes, and have no effect on one each other.

As a Googler with three plus years at AdWords, I'll confirm eWhisper's post. ;)

Thanks for the replies. It's very strange then, but I will give it more time.

Whats really strange is that for a couple days last week, it was showing other pages on the site when you did site:www.example.com ... then after Sunday, its only showing the index page again.

I will take your word for it though... its gotta be a sandbox or other issue.

Thanks again!
