I got this today in an email from Google about disabled advertisements in a new account:

Also, please note that if the system slows your account due to low performance three times in a row, we will charge you a $5.00 fee every third time you restore it.

That's a great way to encourage new advertisers to do better!

I got charged $10 because my ad was slowed and needed to be restarted. What kind of garbage is this? I can now see where the billions are coming from....pretty appalling.

Yeah, that $10 fee probably makes up at least 50% of their revenue.

It certainly ads up when you think in terms of how many advertisers Google has, and how much they make from them before they even serve an advert.
