We are recieving a large amount of traffic from an Italian website through our Content Targeting and considering the industry it can only be one large site, possible two- providing this traffic.
We know that the traffic is authentic because our conversion rate is also excellent, but we know of no sites that could provide this amount of clicks from Italy.
What measures can i take in order to try to track down the mystery site/s where this traffic is coming from?
Any help really appreciated.
It will look something like:
pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-6867100106967280&dt=1118169636413&lmt=1118169636&format=160x600_as&output=html&channel=1390959884&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.example.com%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D70730&color_bg=eae3f9&color_text=000000&color_link=3D2275&color_url=BB313E&color_border=000000&ad_type=text&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.example.com%2Fforumdisplay.php%3Ff%3D78&cc=100&u_h=768&u_w=1024&u_ah=740&u_aw=1024&u_cd=24&u_tz=-240&u_java=true
The example.com in the line will be the site, and you can get the page information by replacing the %2F with / and the %3A with :

Is this a problem with our sql database and coding or do some google referals cut down the query string to stop people like me discovering the source of adsense publishers?
Any help really appreciated.
