Slightly on topic:

Ever the skeptic when it comes to things AdWords, I created a campaign which targeted only The Heard and McDonald Islands, an unpopulated island group off the coast of Australia.

I would have been concerned had I started to get impressions or clicks. To Google's credit, I did not.

Besides what I'm sure are pristine natural settings, the only other activity there seems to be the business of offering an .hm TLD for those who might find that desirable.

I doubt the domain registry resides there. It would be interesting if there was a sole structure there used as the .hm domain headquarters :)

I find AdWords vast country list to be a bit daunting when you're trying to pick and choose countries for a campaign. Hopefully, everyone knows you can select all country/territory names at once using the <shift><click> and then remove those few you fear might be sources of more bogus clicks than legitimate ones.
