Moving ads to retain CTR

Can you?

Having split a company in to three separate Ltd companies, I now want to separate out billing for relevant & company-specific ads etc.

So with the ads that I have set up that have good CTR (i.e. 10% or above) is it possible to re-assign them over to a new account and retain all the CTR and positions etc.

The ones lower than this I don't really mind starting again.

Don't really want to to have to start again with some of them as they have been running for 3 years plus.

Any help appreciated.

I wanted to move Ad Groups around (from one campaign to another) to tidy the account up but that was no go. So don't think you'll have much luck keeping everything live and moving them to a new account. Good luck though...

I would talk to Google directly regarding your situation.

They can link multiple accounts so that the account historical information is used in a new account (however, you can't run reports in the new account that include the old history).

Usually, it's done when an account has too many keywords/campaigns to fit in one account, but there are other reasons when they might do it as well.
