Was that the case for all the keywords? - reported wrong status
That's one of the few Google tools that I've never encountered bugs with. Are you sure you didn't have some other criteria checked too?
Is it possible that given the ephemeral nature of trial and disabled status that these somehow went to normal between when you ran the report and when you checked the adgroup? - outside shot, I know.
BTW, the pink box in the AdGroup only shows up if you have "trial" or "hold" keywords. If the only non-normal status keywords are "disabled", there is no warning on top.
I'd try the "find/edit keywords" tool again. I use it a lot and never found a discrepancy.

What do I choose for Keywords because I am looking for just any words that have been disabled. I choose:
"contains" but did not enter any key words.
I left the Cpc question and history blank. and checked all of the match type and style except "normal"
The result said that I had over 300 words that are disabled on trial or On hold. But when I go through the accounts manually, they are all in "normal" status.
Am I entering my criteria wrong? I can't seem to be able to figure this out.
AWA would suggest that you clear Temporary Internet Files and Cookies. Empty your windows/temp directory. Try on a different PC to narrow it down.
The only other thing that I can think of is perhaps you're expecting to see disabled/hold/trial at the bottom of the list within the AdGroups. Of course, they could occur anywhere in the list depending on how you have it sorted. I fall for that one sometimes.
It's a shame, I'll bet not that many people make use of these semi-hidden tools. You sound like you would benefit from it and it flunks for you!
Good Luck!
