Message Too Old, No Replies

Your Changes Were Not Processed.

Just after everything's neat and tidy, AdWords throws you out.

Infuriating today trying to create new ad groups - AdWords keeps throwing me out after I've hit 'Continue', at seemingly random places in the wizard. The URL says something about a collision, then I'm back to the main screen where it tells me changes weren't processed.

Resourceful as I am I hit back and try and resubmit at which point I get thrown back to the log in screen.

And no, I wasn't doing anything else at the same time :)

I get more of this with Firefox. Are you using IE?

I'm going to... Argh!

Spent ages setting up a new adgroup - had everything worked out on paper before hand. Started setting it up in my account, struggled with it - realised the text needed more tweaking, finely get it right. Satisfied, I click continue.

What happens? You guessed it... I get kicked back to log in!

I have to empathise. How very, very annoying and a complete waste of time indeed.

(BTW: Am using FF but not had this occur before.)

Right, off to try again!

<added>No. In fact I've changed my mind. I'm not going to try again till next week. Will watch and see if others here report similar problems.</added>

Just to be clear. I had some issues similair to this while using firefox my default browser. I now use IE to work with Google and it was solved for me.

Just to be clear.

IE? We use Mac OSX+Safari or FF.

But such things as OS and/or browser don't make a difference nowadays... We've gone past that stage, surely?

The fact is, the interface has crashed sufficiently to be reported here.

Sorry you are having this difficulty, Syzygy. I am not hearing of it as issue here, but I'll certainly ping the tech team.

kooky and I suffered & reported it here first...

Sorry, I wasn't being clear. ;)

I meant here, as in 'here at AdWords where I am sitting' - rather than as in 'here at WebmasterWorld where I am reading and posting'.

Words. I gotta be more careful with those darned things!

ROFLMAO.

I meant "here", as in "here at WebmasterWorld" where we sit - rather than "here" at AdWords where you sit reading and posting.

Back to the serious nature of business:

I now have two new adgroups to set up on Monday morning. I hope that I can set them up quickly! It's a tester that we've wanted to do for months.

They are set up as tests for further campaigns across every product we have as a publishing company, based on how I have managed to convince the company to invest in adwords.

If it doesn't work/I can't make it work - it's going to be my fault entirely - regardless.

Let's hope new changes can be processed quickly...

You just have to adapt. I always paste every word in from the ad to the keywords. That way, when I get the message, it makes starting over easier.

I get "Changes not processed" intermittently, whether Temporary Internet Files are empty or not (I won't delete Cookies). Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. It normally goes through the 2nd time.

Personally, I think it's a Google issue, perhaps a timeout when communicating with their server.

I also run into this problem VERY frequently. I am using Firefox, not sure if that's the cause, but it sure is annoying.
