We have a number of clients who want to put a toe in the water of AdWords with us. We, and they, are not going to be big spenders - so if I am understanding the Professional Scheme correctly, we won't be spending £1k (or maintaining this figure) to get a My Centre.
Is there a way I can open separate AdWord accounts for approx 5 clients, or will Google allow me to have one central account for my company and run different Campaigns/AdWordgroupings within this for each of our clients?
A bit of guidance for a newbie would be very much appreciated
Thanks
I first recommend creating a 'shell' account which doesn't contain any accounts. Then goto here:
[adwords.google.com...]
and convert the shell account to an MCC.
From there, you can add clients, create accounts, etc, which will help centralize your AdWords operations.
They said there are two criteria for accessing a My Client account
1. You have an active AdWords account
2. You must sign up for the Google Advertising Professional programme
Does 2. immediately incur a minimum spend of $1k/£1k for 90 days? Also, you have to take and pass the Google Pro Exam? Is this your experience?
Sorry for the newbie questions
In many cases, there are people/companies with more than 1 MCC. It doesn't make sense to take the same test over and over again. Therefore, some of the MCCs just aren't considered part of the GAP program - but still receive the majority of the features.
