What do I need to do for maximum exposure?

Ok my keywords list contains five or six popular keyword terms. I know that lowering the keywords CPC lessen their exposure, but does setting the CPC as suggested by adwords (which is very inreeasonable price, btw) guarantees maximum exposure? Also, how to know the suggested keyword prices of an old campaign?

Cheers,

First off, there are no guarantees - only suggestions. Trying to follow the suggestions and work from there can be useful, but in a computer generated also, suggestions are based on that algo, which takes into account so many factors that it's often not completely correct.

The easiest way to get estimated bids on an older campaign is to copy/paste the group into the traffic estimator. In the estimator don't input a number for the 'max CPC'. In the estimated clicks, it'll also show an estimated CPC per keyword.

Thanks, already done that today but I think something is broken. In the traffic estimator I see an "expectaion" of 100 click/day, while in the keywords list all my keywords have an "expectation" of < 0.1

For testing purposes I took the risk and set my keywords CPC to its maxmimum in my niche market. I also increased the daily budget just in case! Still waiting for hours without impressions/clicks. I think it's time to contact google adwords support.

moftary, please be aware that there is always a (roughly) three hour delay in your stats - plus an additional server delay as your changes are updated through a really large number of servers.

So, not seeing your stats reflect your changes earlier than 3 or more hours is entirely normal.

Not a bad idea to contact AdWords support, though, as they can take a look at the account itself, and give you a much more informed idea of what's going on than we are able to do here.
