"Search" vs. "Content"

Which is best for my campaign?

I have been running an AdWords campaign for several months for my restaurant in the L.A. area. A week ago I tried turning off the "Content" option and ran "Search" only. This resulted in fewer clicks but not much change in CTR. My best KWs run as high as 6% CTR. Any advice on what is best for my type of campaign would be appreciated.

Why don't you look at the results. You could call me an "content hater" but restaurant business is one of the areas where it might work. The only thing is that you can certainly do local search for the search but I don't think it would work for the content match (although I've never been involved with local match, so could be wrong on that one).
What I would do is to run search and content separately.
Do two different type of ads. The search ad could say
"Just say 'Cinco de Maya' to get 15% off your bill at ..."
The content would read "Just say 'Habanero'...".
Or just create two landing pages with two different printable coupons for search and conent. At the end of the day, you'll know how many people came and redeemed these coupons, so you'll know what's more effective for you.
You'd also know what customer is cheaper or more valuable for you - search or content.
