Keywords disabled on Google

I market a whole load of magazine subscriptions for a major publisher.

The problem I have is that several of the magazines that I am marketing have been disabled by Google. Not generic terms but the name of the magazine title. And each time I re-enter the magazine name as a keyword, Google disables it.

What is the best solution to get around this. I have emailed Google and explained the situation that they have disabled the name of the product, which we own and they have not been helpful.

Ideas welcomed

Did the disabled keywords get any searches?

Hi,
I'm having the same problem. A few of my highest searched keywords have been disabled. They are not trademarked and had a normal CTR. Some of my direct competitors are showing just fine for the keyword. Every time I go to add it again, it just gets disabled right away.

What can I do about this, as this can help me increase sales quite a bit. Thanks!

does Anyone know how to get keywords back online if they've been disabled?

Could you set up a new account?

I guess I could, but I'm almost sure that would go against the TOS, since it's the same keywords going to the same url. I would rather have a way to fix this the right way. thanks.

It doesn't matter if the keyword is the name of your company or a trademark you own, if it doesn't meet the minumum click rate on Google search, it will be disabled. You could start a new account, and when it receives enough impressions and still doesn't reach the minimum click rate, it will be disabled again. Eventually, it will go on hold the minute a new campaign with it is created.

Your options are limited. Make sure you're using negative keywords so that it's not shown for keyword combinations that will most likely not result in a click. You'll probably be limited to phrase combinations with that keyword. If the keyword can't cut it on its own, then you're out of luck. Those are Google's rules.

Someone mentioned that putting the keywords in [] would help for example [widgets].

I'm trying it out. Well let you know what I get if that helps.

You can try using "phrase" and [exact] keyword matches, and if that doesn't work, try deleting then re-adding the terms into a new AdGroup.

I'm not sure it is working and I don't want to keep going thru the hassle each time of having to reset up a campaign everytime this happens.

I am having the same problem. I have exact match on for my keyphrases yet they are being disabled. Also when trying to enter new key phrases Google is putting them on hold before they even get a chance to show. These are two or three word key phrases set up for exact match, not broad match. Any suggestions on getting around this or dealing with this?
