Negative Keywords

Why would they be in the {keyword} value?

I had some interesting things in my log file last week. I have a negative phrase keyword:

-"blue widget"

in a particular ad group. That phrase has never been anything but negative since it relates to an entirely different thing than my product.

My destination URL on an ad in the group contains:

?source={ifsearch:AdWordsSearch}{ifcontent:AdWordsContent}&campaign=2&group=Surfing+Widget&keyword={keyword}

I saw the following entry in my log file. Twice:

65.57.245.11 - - [12/May/2005:17:31:29 -0400] "GET /adwords_page.asp?source=AdWordsSearch&campaign=2&group=Surfing+Widget&keyword=blue+widget HTTP/1.1" 200 27845 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1)"

Interesting fact is that on this day (May 12), the AdWords Campaign Management shows no clicks for that ad group. The campaign has a max CPC of $0.05, with Content and Search partners checked. (Another campaign has the same keywords and higher CPC with Content and Search partners not checked.)

Is this entry part of an AdWords testing procedure?

Yes, I think that IP belongs to Google. It is used to check every new KW or Ad submitted.
I also found it in my logs.

There is also another IP something like 80.167....(UK) that I'm also sure belongs to Google.
