I've seen what look to be a couple of expanded text ads on my sites. Just wondering if this is google testing things out, or has this option actually been made available to advertisers.
Site targetting is not generally available as of yet, ownerrim. I think you're just seeing some testing.

Saw a couple of instances of it and took some screen shots. Thought it was probably testing.
"These new features are currently being tested with a selected batch of advertisers"
Can I assume that since I've seen 2 instances of expanded text ads with 2 different advertisers that both these advertisers are included in the advance testing?
