Google Hates Me!

j/k, but I have a problem.

I'm an affiliate marketer that uses niche keywords in Google Adwords. I had over 100 ads running and usually got 300 or 400 clicks a day, but last week Google stopped delivering my ads.

Nothing was disapproved, and I received no warning email, I just stopped getting impressions altogether.

I emailed Google, but they never answered, so I tried opening a new account, but they won't accept any of my cards.

After looking through my account, I realized many of my display urls were inaccurate. I'm guessing rather than telling me about them they just stopped delivering my ads instead, so I fixed all of them and emailed google again. Still no response.

Any tips on what I can do to get my account in good standing and start getting my ads delivered again?

Thanks!

Sevin,

You may be getting reviewed. You're given no notice, the delivery just stops. Happened to me, I called and they more or less verified it. 5 days later, just as suddenly as they stopped, they started again. No communication from Google at all. No suspensions, complaints or suggestions either.

It's a very unpopular "feature" of AdWords and it may be what's happening to you.

Call them on Monday and see.

Thanks, patient.

I called them this morning and they said they were reviewing the account, just like you said.

The guy I talked to said he'd email the person reviewing my account and that they should have it running again within a day. We'll see.

Not to beat a dead horse, but why can't google make this review session more user friendly?

At least when you login to adwords, there should be something saying the account is under review, give a detailed explanation as to what is going on, and when the review is estimated to be completed.

Doing something that simple could save some headaches and time...

Metakomm has a point. The review session sucks. I had absolutely no warning. One day I got up, logged into my account and saw that I didn't have a single impression for the previous day.

Everything looked normal, and after four days they still haven't answered my emails.

Not sure why the process takes 5 days, but I'm missing out on hundreds of dollars in sales.

To give google credit, I didn't have any trouble getting through on the phone.

So does this happen to everyone with a google adwords account? And how often? Hopefully not too often.

Sevin...

I was told it was based on how many impressions you receive...It is part of the process...I feel your pain about missing out on $$$.

I really have respect for how google can help us folk, but I just wish they would understand when we invest our faith to give some $$$...Unexplained delays really scare people like me who make money off their ads to later see a lack of ads to make money to support ourselves...

I can respect them trying to make their money, but just respect us...That is all...

There are good folks in google...I don't want it to seem I'm beating them up. They will come around soon :)

Okay, yeah, don't get me wrong. I looooove Google. I wouldn't be making as good of a living online without them, but I'm starting to get impatient.

It's been seven days since I had an impression. I called yesterday morning just to ask how the review process is going and when they think my ads will be running again. The guy I talked to said he didn't know and promised he'd find out and call me back. Never did.

So I called again today and the lady said (sounding annoyed), "You already called yesterday." I said, "Yeah. They said they'd call me back with some news and they never did." She said she'd tell them I'm expecting a call.

That was several hours ago. Still no call.

I understand they have to take time to review people's ads, but seven full days? And no explanation?

What gives?

sevin...I feel for you cuz...

Ask for a supervisor and don't take no for an answer...My reviews never went past 2 days...7 days seems pretty long...
