I sent Google an email asking what the timeframe should be for approval. I got back a silly form letter that didn't address the question whatsoever. It blah-blahed on and on about how Google treats all of their customers the same, without bias. I didn't say anything about bias, I just simply asked them what's the normal timeframe.
Makes you wonder about "they doth protest too much."
Meanwhile, since my search campaign isn't getting many clicks, I decided to pick out some VERY specific keywords, put them into a new campaign, and up the max bid on those a lot to get top position. Lo and behold, all but five of my 27 keywords instantly were marked "on hold". The SAME keywords are WORKING in the other campaign! And they're MORE specific than the others I left off this campaign?
Last week when I signed up for this, I thought it was the greatest thing since unsliced bread (sliced bread dries out quicker.) Now I see what all of the complaining here is about. The stupid thing just does junk at random, for no reason. How is it that the specific keywords are on hold, with the advice to make them more specific, when the general ones are Normal?
What's the deal?
My opinion of Google has turned 180 degrees this week.
