Can I see same ads than users in other country?

Someone told me I can't see ads shown in USA for the same search I'm doing in other country. I guess that's right, but I wonder: if we both use same google (google.com) does adwords deliver different ads for users based on location (using IP ranges maybe?)

Can I see or emulate what ads are shown for a language and country using a local google?

I'd like to see what users see in england for english search "widgets" for instance.

Make a search for the term you want.

Then add to the end of the URL &gl=us .

With this you will be able to see the ads shown in the USA.

To see different countries just use uk, de, nl, etc... instead of us .

AW GEO targetting will affect the ads displayed, if applicable..
