Is it possible to get into a competitor site with your ads or banners? (if they didn't specify to kick you off of course)
I saw some intersting sites where I'd like to advertise and mostly of sites my graphical adds appear are odd. I don't care if graphical or not but how to get into specific sites using adwords?
This may be the latest I've ever gotten to WebmasterWorld to post for the first time. Was just scanning for Advertiser Feedback for this week's report, and thought I'd quickly respond to a few questions in the process.
Anyway, this is not an option at present silverbytes, but there is an excellent chance it will be soon. Please see the recent WebmasterWorld thread below for more details:
Site Targeting: New Google ad service - Google introduces a new ad service

That's what I've heard but nothing to set up in my account yet. There isn't a date to start using it yet right?
Right. It's in a limited test right now, to test it out in the real world. And if all goes well, it'll be available to all advertisers before too long.
There's not really an exact time-frame. It really depends on what we learn from the test.
Glad to hear that you (and others too as it turns out) are interested in giving it a try, silverbytes.

Google was nice enough to disable this new CPM thing on my site upon request.
Caught my eye with that, incrediBILL. ;)
Sounds as if you're speaking with your publisher (AdSense) hat on, right? Just wanted to make sure I've understood, since I'm passing on both positive and negative feedback to the teams over here.
In any case, I'm glad you're a happy camper now. :)

Yes, I also use AdWords too so I play on both sides of your advertising pond and am waiting eagerly to give the CPM ads a whirl from "the other side".
The problem is the CPM ads were off topic so I asked them to stop them. If they can make them contextual or give me an easier method of blocking the ones I don't want, then I'll turn them back on in a heartbeat.
Problem was AdSense preview didn't show them and the only way I could figure out what was displaying on my site was to hit RELOAD over and over and then I'm guilty of IMPRESSION FRAUD just to find and block those ads.
Simplest solution turned out to be disabling CPM ads.
Do you work in Google AWA?
Might be time soon to reintroduce AWA.
Here's the initial intro thread:

Good idea - I'll try to whip something up later in the day. In the meantime, here is a very short version:
Yep, silverbytes, I am indeed a proud Googler - and have been with AdWords for nearly three years (as of later this month). ;)
I didn't see AWA's introduction before, nice to have people like that on this forums!
How kind of you to say so, thanks. ;)
It really is a favorite part of my day to post here. It's been a real kick.

I noticed a couple weeks ago on the Google phone system that they changed the term to 'dial your googler's extension'.
This made me laugh - not the usual reason, but because they're using it as a noun.
Use the trademark ONLY as an adjective, NEVER as a noun or verb, and NEVER in the plural or possessive form.
Not being picky - I actually found it funny that Google 'gave in' to the use of Google as a verb and noun and not just an adjective.
