Hi Guys, Im New!

quick question

ive got a question about really large campaigns, well, in terms of keywords, ive got a couple of campaigns that have about 1500-2000 words (i guess thats not that much compared to some people)

anyways, i had a question about this.

basically ive been sorting the keywords into groups, by hand, you know, small groups of 10-20 words that are very close together in terms of commonly used words, anyways, is there a tool out there that can do this for me? it is VERY tiring to do this for thousands of words on a daily basis and i need to speed up the process,

also, any links to cool tools or tricks would be appreciated!

obviously secrets are secrets and i wouldnt ask for that, im thinking commonly used tricks that everyone knows about, like #*$!, and tools like that :)

Why do you pick so many keywords!?!?!?
Personally I find it monstrous!

I'm not aware of tools that can perform the task requested,but I would advice you to decrease drastically the number of keywords in your campaign.

It's common opinion that large campaign(in terms of keywords)are more competitive than small ones,but my personal experience (with ADwords and Overture) and some research on the subject show that is not true.
In purely mathematics terms the effectiveness of a few keyword campaign is superior to the one that uses thousands of keywords:
The secret is to target the right keywords with a reasonable number of competitor pages by optimizing the site or selecting them carefully so to convoy primarily QUALITY traffic.
In fact targeting the right keywords in number of 15 - 20,you could get from them at least the 80% of your web site traffic.The other 1,500 brings to you only the 20% and in add, more "spam" traffic that means visitors not really interested in your site but just curiouses.
Think about.

well, the 1500 really is 500, what i do is have a built in spreadsheet that automatically makes the list triple by adding quotes and brackets to every phrase. its still a pain in the butt to organize 500 words.

hey carl, thanks for the reply, but thats not really what i was looking for, and im already familiar with the concactenate protocol, heres what i meant, say you have the following words

blue widgets
tiny blue widgets
brand new blue widgets
ugly blue widgets
yellow mustard
green pickle
computer speakers
etc etc

what i want the program to do is to have me enter a word, have it traverse the list, pull out of the list all the phrases with that word, move all those words into a seperate list, and leave the left overs to have the process done to again so if i entered in this program "blue"
i would get 2 lists, one with all the phrases with blue in it:
blue widgets
tiny blue widgets
brand new blue widgets
ugly blue widgets
(and whatever phrases has blue)

and another with all the leftovers...
yellow mustard
green pickle
computer speakers
etc etc

then i can repeat the process to get even more similar phrases sorted

it would just make the entire process so much easier you know?

Use Excel spreadsheet. You can do it in less than 5 minutes.

First, you transfer "text to column". Next, sort the first column ---> cut and paste to each group ---> sort the second column for the remainders ---> cut and paste, etc.
