Hi all, I am just beginning to advertise on AW, but I need some advice on how to create successful campaigns. I have read all of the Google stuff, but I think there is more to it. I am not trying to loose a ton of money doing this. Can anyone turn me in the right direction.
Welcome to the Forum, Nutrition Locker! In addition to the excellent advice you've already received, here are a few other thoughts:
* Make use of the AdWords Learning Center. You've mentioned reading Google's materials, but this is a resource that many folks aren't aware of.

Also, I'd suggest these as top tips:
* Start small, and then grow your advertising in scope as you learn the nuances of the program.
* Be very targeted, rather than general in your keyword selection. Don't use lots of keywords just because you can. Instead, concentrate on keywords that specifically describe what you have to offer.
* Organize your account around the concept of very targeted Ad Groups - in which each thing you have to offer has it's own Ad Group, comprised of a well written ad about that one thing, and a list of keywords that are also about that thing.
* Learn about negative keywords, and use them to your advantage.
* Don't budget more than you're comfortable spending. If the system suggests a budget higher than you care for, then consider using fewer keywords.
* Try to enjoy the process of learning! It can actually be really fun to come up to speed with the program, and to watch your results improve.
