Hi, before I put the noarchive meta tag in my pages (which I understand is only to prevent google's cache?) I wanted to confirm...will putting this tag affect my page's ranking in any way? Any experiences/thoughts would be great, thanks!

Agreed we have added to every page now purely because we want people to come directly to us but mostly we want to ensure that the pages people see are always up to the second.
