No more need for 'aff.'?

Since new adwords policy, no need for 'aff.' at all anymore?

With the introduction of the new adwords policy on
multiple accounts bidding on same destination URLs,
Google said something like "no more need to add 'aff.' etc to your ads.". Would this be true for ALL
ads on adwords then? i.e. also for affiliate sites with
their own domain/landing pages?

I think aff is just plain no longer required. Which is nice. I dont think Joe Public understood what it meant anyway :O)

If you're an affiliate, this means that you no longer need to identify yourself as an affiliate in your ad text. However, your current ad text will continue to display your affiliate status until you change it.

From: [adwords.google.com...]

It reads to me that it's all of them, your own landing page or not.

But, just keep in mind. Removing the aff zeros out your calculated CTR for that ad and could make you drop in the standings.
