Locked out of Adwords

My IP is refused....

I have been getting prepared to start some new Google Adwords Campaigns and some Overture ppc advertising for a couple of my websites for the new year. But it seems that my IP has been banished from those sites. I can't bring up Google Adwords or Overture.Com's tools. They refuse me. I am guessing some jack*ss on my ISP was hammering them with a script or something. What the heck can I do? This is a giant problem for me....

You could start by finding a proxy service, free or otherwise, to go through, which will at least test your theory and allow you to log on to adwords/overture.

I already did that. I used an annonymopus proxy that would let me to the sites, but if I tried to actually do anything, I'd get refused because they don't let forms be submitted via a proxy connection. *sigh*

As I read that, ACDesign, a voice whispered 'spyware'. Have you scoured your system for that?

In particular, it seems really odd that all of a sudden you are locked out of both G and O.

Any chance you can try from another machine, not on the same network?

BINGO! Thank you, AdWordsAdvisor! YOu saved me. I tried my laptop on my network, and presto! Got right in. I didn't even know that spyware/virus could have that effect?!

I still have not been able to discover what is causing it...but I will.

Thanks again!

ACDesign;
Microsoft has just released a free beta version of it's new Microsoft AntiSpyware program. I suggest you download it from MS and update it and scan your computer for crapola. The URL for this product is: [microsoft.com...]

Once you download Microsoft's new anti-spyware tool, how in the world do you run it? Or does it just run in the background?
