50 adword ads on one Google page

when searching with 100 results per page

I search google with my preferences set to display 100 results.
Today I noticed Google started showing 50 adword ads on these pages in place of the standard 5-7

The number of AdWords shown per page is related to the length of the search page and ad availability.
