My account slowed twice in few hours is that a worrying factor?

I have a adwords account opened one week ago. I have a few campaings and several adgroups under each campaign these ad groups have hundreds of keywords and I am bidding for the minimum. All these keywords are absolutely relevent. My ad copy is done based on the keywords on the respective group and it is user centeric. My campaigns' click through rate ranging from 0.3 to 1.2. Now my account is slowed and I deleted all the kewords in trail and hold and restored the account and again it is slowed in few hours. My questions are below.

How does the slowed account affects the campaign and how serious it is?

What if I don't restore the account? ex: account will be deleted or keywords will be deleted or more?

Since I have already reviewed the copy which is also relevent how do I better this situtation.

matrix_neo, when your account is slowed, it essentially means that some of your 'in trial' keywords, account wide, are not performing well. It is not particularly "serious", and really just serves as a nudge to improve the targetting of ads and keywords in your account.

What if I don't restore the account? ex: account will be deleted or keywords will be deleted or more?

Essentially, the 'in trial' keywords that caused the slowing won't show your ad, while the 'normal' keywords will continue to run as normal. If you don't restore full delivery, I am about 99% sure that the situation continues in this same vein. In other words, normal keywords continue to run as normal. I'll double check with the techsters and confirm this later in another post.

Since I have already reviewed the copy which is also relevant how do I better this situtation.

This is really hard to answer without seeing your ads and keywords. But the principles are to:

* Use very specific and carefully targeted keywords, as opposed to general keywords.

* Probably, avoid most single-word keywords.

* Make sure keywords are grouped so that each Ad Group's keyword list is about the same thing.

* Make sure that the ad that shows for the keyword list is about the very same thing as the list.

Thanks for your clarification adwordsadvisor, it is a great relief to hear from the authoritative person. And your detailed answer with quotes are really helpful. Apart from info I like the way you answer. Thanks.

One more last question If a campaign which has several adgroups has a ctr of less 0.5% will that campaign be dropped? or just the kewyords that are not performing in that campaign will be droped?

In other words is minimum ctr of 0.5% will also be applicable to the campaigns?

Thanks for the kind words, matrix_neo. :)

It is the CTR per keyword that really matters, since keywords which do not meet a minimum standard can be disabled.

There is not an Ad Group level or campaign level equivalent of keyword disabling - although, as we've already talked about, an entire account can be 'slowed'. When that happens, though, it is really only the low performing 'in trial' keywords that are actually slowed.

Hope that answers your question.
