My account is not showing the usual moderate, strong in the status column.
Probably Google Help had enough "Why is my keyword only "Moderate" questions

It looks like that status terms have changed to:

Normal
In Trial
On Hold
Diabled

I guess this means no more "at risk" or "Moderate"

I noticed this morning that keyword status had changed to "Normal - In Trail - On Hold - Disabled". IMO, this not a positive change for advertisers because previously there are two steps (Strong - Moderate) before the ads get to be slowed, now it's normal (full delivery) or not normal (slowed or disabled).

"Normal" or "Disabled". That is what all of my ads shown.

I agree with GAds, this new scale is a total downer. And what about making people feel good. The best you can do is normal -- bah. The comparable levels are all markedly worse, unless the CTR cutoffs changed.

The old system also incites you more. Seeing 'At Risk' is more likely to make the average person do something about it, whereas seeing 'On Hold' is more likely to just increase frustration level.

And 'In Trial' seems like a term that should be reserved only for a new ad, even though that isn't the case.

On the face this change seems very bad.

I think what your seeing is that it is nearing Christmas and G. isn't going to pass up on any income from any ads. And why should they?

Ah, this quenches some fears... See your account ==>

"Previously strong, moderate, and at risk keywords will now be labeled as normal.
Only in trial keywords may be slowed.
On hold keywords will not show ads unless they move to in trial."

So the normal category is now very broad.

Google is trying to scam us. Without knowing "strong", we will not lower the bid. So google trys to push us to bid as high as possible, without giving us a chance to bid lower.

It was Microsoft, eBay, now Google. Same same.

It does seem a bit unfair that some keywords with less than 100 impressions have been put on hold.

I think its all about their goal of having their ads be more relevant to the searches.

I haven't been able to build up keywords in the 100 to 200 range for a few months now and this change will not help. I have to keep adgroups around 50 keywords.
