Ad position on the google "search network" and "content network"

Does CPC cost and CTR will affect it?

I was wondering,

If some keyword is 10 cents per click on google, will it be 10 cents per click on the search network and content networks as well?

How is the average cost and position calculated on the search and content network?

The cost is calculated the same way ( [webmasterworld.com...] see post 11) for G & search partners. However, the number of advertisers between G & search partners, can vary, so the price would vary as well.

Content is done similarly (and can also have a different number of advertisers), but then smart pricing plays an effect.

[adwords.google.com...] Contains smart pricing info.

AWA - It would be nice if the email announcements Google sends out were placed on the web for linking purposes. No emails are allowed via WebmasterWorld TOS - and I think the FAQ linked to above is lacking in details.

How much is the share of traffic coming from search partners in a worldwide campaign? I am running one in the food and beverage sector and when I stopped the partners maintaining only Google, impression dropped from 500 daily to 150.
What about your experience? Is there a topic thiscussing precisely this matter?

I don't think you can limit search partners to only Google. You can limit to content and/or search.

Whether you appear on a search partner depends on you position. For example, if Lycos is a search partner, it might only show the top 5 positions in Adwords for search. Clear as mud?

In campaign settings if you have "search network" & "content network" unchecked, then your ads are shown on Google only.
