I know lots about seo, adsense and the like but I'm not very good with adwords. This is probably a basic question.

I have one campaign with about 50 keywords. Some days certain keywords are doing well, other days they are disabled sometimes at risk. Is this because I may be approaching my budget for the day, or does "disabled" only happen when you have bad performance?

Some of these keywords should be getting high ctr's but are disabled - does this mean i need to increase my bid?

Thanks

Disabled or at-risked keywords have nothing to do with daily budget. They are caused by a poor performance on the Google search which is not included the partners' searches. To improve the performance, there are several things you can do:
1. Work on the ads.
2. Insert dynamic keywords in the ad titles.
3. Expand the generic keywords into several specific keyword terms.
4. Use negative keywords
5. ....
