GMail account offered because I'm an AdWords advertiser

Over the past hours, I received an e-mail from Google offering an Gmail account because I'm a valued AdWords advertiser. Clicked their link and set it up. Will be interesting to see how Gmail catches on.

$10,000 - $12,000 a month on AdWords for the last year - no invite. I got my invite a couple days ago from someone who was already using it. The e-mail address he used to invite me was different from the one that I have set up for AdWords so it wasn't a case of "you already have an account so we're not inviting you."

I wasn't kidding with my Secret Tip a few posts ago. Just write from within your account and request an invite. You may need to be a little patient, as I think the invites go out in waves.
