Getting the 1 position worth it?

How good being 1st instead 2nd?

25 impressions gave me 2 clicks. The position is 1,6...

Does it worth to pay more to get a 1,0 position in that case?

What your experience indicates?

Generally we prefer positions 3-5 on the page (assuming there are 2 listings in the Top-Spots), less clicks, less cost, better ROI.

depends on your product and or service.

We pay for the top spot in our most important words. We tried #2 and #3 for awhile, but did not get the volume we need.

as with nearly everything about adwords "it all depends"

followed by: test, test, and then test some more.

test different ads, positions, etc, and measure your ROI, CTR, CPC, and bottom line based on the various positions.

some products do well in the top spot, while others do better in the #8 position - but you have to test it out to know.
