I am seeing my ads on bomis. Is Bomis a search parter? I had opted only for search partners and not content partners. I wish there was a way to opt the search partners on whose site you want to display your ad.. just like controlling sites on Adsense.

The problem is that Google considers Bomis a search partner. Normally a "Search Partner" only shows adds after you do a search (obviously). But, bomis will show adds just by landing on a web page (with a static URL, and no "?" in it). They have little real content, and are just a bunch of links. They get traffic by filling up SE indexes with worthless pages of links, which draw in visitors, who then click on the adds shown on landing pages. In fact, caches of bomis pages (in Google's free index) often contained the text of my adds, so somebody who searches Google for words in my add (like my site name), would find a bomis page, which they click to get to my site (costing me).
I hope you report the problem to Google AdWords, as a violation of their tos (as I did).

I will report this to google. Hope they will listen. I am sure if they don't listen now, they will listen after a few months, when they have real competition in the adsense / adwords and search market.

Bomis can be worse than that. I followed a log entry to find (to my astonishment) that I was being advertised on tha adult portion of Bomis. Upsetting since what I do has nothing to do with adult content. There was my ad next to pictures of ***!
I screamed mightily to Google and next time I checked (the next day) Bomis was no longer using Adsense on XXX pages!
