Two adwords ads for the same website in the same search?

I thought this wasn't allowed

For several highly competitive keyphrases, one site comes up twice in the adwords column. I thought this wasn't possible.

Examples of searches that I've found producing this effect with various sites include:

<snip>

- I'm sure there are many more.

[mod - delete specifics if necessary, though you will appreciate that these are illustratory examples - I have no affiliation with these sites]

John: It's possible to have 2 (or more) entries for the same site show up if one of the entries (or more) is an affiliate. Check just about any electronics product and watch all the Amazon ads come up. :-P

It can also be an "old" premium Account still active + the adwords for the same site. This works (unfortunatly).

FrenchGuy, actually this should not happen if the Premium and the AdWords accounts are correctly configured. So if you see an example of this, feel free to let us know in an email, and we will fix it.

Well, if one of the two belongs to an affiliate then the Ad must indicate as such (affiliate, associate, aff., etc. - somewhere in the copy).
