Just installed the new toolbar and dont see how to add that green Category button (that appears for sites that are listed in Google Directory)

Any ideas?

Jessica, sorry no one else helped you sooner!

On the Toolbar there is an "Options" button usually next to the "AutoFill" & "toggle highlighting."

Click on options and you will see the "Toolbar Options" window popup. There are 3 tabs at the top of this window, you want the one that says "more."

Look for Category "Web buttons" on the list, the third one down says "category" with a green book icon. Check the box next to it, click "apply" and "Ok" then refresh your browser window!

You should be good to go!

thats strange, i am keeping the old one then!

if you want to know if a site is in the google directory then try alexa - there is usually the GD category and description - (DMOZ)

you have to type domainname.com into the search box to get the reviews, rating, and stats. there is also the Dmoz, GD category.
